Dhikr Reminder – Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Dhikr Reminder (“the app”) is published by Halal Apps. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: the app does not collect, transmit, share or sell any personal data. Everything stays on your phone.

What the app stores on your device

To work, the app keeps the following on your phone only:

This data is not sent anywhere. It is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its storage.

No accounts, ads or tracking

The app has no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking. It does not request internet access, so it cannot send data off your phone.

Permissions and why the app asks for them

When your phone is on silent, vibrate or Do Not Disturb, or you are on a call, the app shows a silent text notification instead of playing audio.

Third-party content

The Hisnul Muslim texts in the app come from the OpenDua dataset (opendua.org), licensed under CC BY 4.0. The content is bundled inside the app, so no connection is made to fetch it.

Google Play provides developers with general install and crash statistics under Google’s own privacy policy. The app itself sends nothing.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. Because it collects no personal data from anyone, there is nothing to collect from children either.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
